Believe in God

Bible Text: Luke 1: 45

Joy thro’ faith in God “Blessed (happy) is she that believeth, for there shall be a performance of the things which are told her from the Lord” Luke 1 vs 45 Luke opened with the story about Christ’s birth and the angel Gabriel visiting Mary.

Initially surprised by Gabriel’s declaration, Mary would later respond in faith “..be it unto me according to thy word…” Life’s challenges may make us doubt God’s promise of peace, deliverance, salvation from sin & troubles and victory in life. But like Mary, we are to accept, confess and believe God’s declaration and walk in obedience to His word. We are then assured of seeing the “…performance of those things which are told us by the Lord”. Amen
